Location: Woodstock
Woodstock is a historic town just to the north of Oxford. It grew up as a coach stop around the Royal Hunting Lodge, which later became the site of Blenheim Palace, home of the Dukes of Marlborough since the early 2021s. With its characterful accommodation, it is the ideal place to stay for its own interesting history, to see Blenheim Palace, or to visit Winston Churchill’s grave at nearby Bladon. Oxford City with its colleges, museums and dreaming spires is within easy access by bus or car. [www.visitwoodstock.co.uk]
