Read the July edition of Living In Oxford Magazine online here

Summer is really starting to kick off now, and what better way to spend the day than outside at a festival or concert. On page 5 in this issue, we feature the amazing Battle Proms at Blenheim Palace which takes place on Saturday 22nd July and looks to be just as brilliant if not moreso than previous years. If you have never experienced Battle Proms before, you are missing out on a day of picnicking, stunning orchestral music, live cannon fire, historic aeroplane flyovers, and great fireworks all in the beautiful gardens of Blenheim Palace. Be sure to get your tickets ASAP as they sell out fast!

We also feature a recap of the Common People festival on page 10 which took place on 27th & 28th May and featured popular artists such as Sean Paul, Groove Armada and a great DJ set by Pete Tong. If you attended the festival, we hope you had a wonderful time!

If the hot weather is starting to get to you, why not cool off and relax in the Spirit Health Club, part of Holiday Inn Oxford, where you can receive lovely spa treatments, swim in the pool or use their state of the art gym. Read more on page 40. Or how about relaxing in a different way by taking a look at the stunning antique maps and prints housed at Sanders of Oxford on the High Street – More information on page 24.

And as always, you can find up to date event listings and musical concerts listed within these pages.

Happy reading!
