Happy New Year to all our readers!

We hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and are feeling refreshed and ready to take on 2017.

Why not kick off the new year with health and happiness in mind by taking part in the Bloodwise Blenheim Palace Triathlon, which takes place on Saturday 3rd June. Our Editor, Richard Rosser, has taken part for the past 3 years and each and every one has been an incredible experience. You rub shoulders with some serious athletes and it’s just great to be part of such a fantastic event, superbly organised and in aid of a wonderful cause. What’s stopping you from getting involved? You can always sign up as a team and just do one of the legs if the whole thing isn’t for you. We promise you it will be an unforgettable experience.

As usual, see our list of upcoming events on page 10 and get planning some exciting trips for this new year. Why not check out the new exhibition at Wiseman Gallery in Summertown, featuring the stunning works of Peter Kettle, about which you can read more on page 26. Also in this issue we feature great reviews of Oxford’s favourite Italian restaurant, La Cucina, and the owners’ new ocean-oriented brain-child: Cuttlefish.
