Kwibuka Rwanda Launch & Commemoration Event

Join members of the Rwandan community to commemorate those who perished during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. During the genocide, more than one million people lost their lives in just 100 days. Every year Rwandans ask the world to come together to support the survivors of the genocide, and to ensure that such an atrocity can never happen again. The service will be followed by a reception with light refreshments at Pitt Rivers Museum. Please note that guests are required to be seated in the Mansfield College chapel by 14.55 and the chapel doors will be closed to allow for the smooth running of the event.
